About Us
All Purpose Coatings is a Brisbane based company, which manufactures and provide quality Australian made protective floor coatings at a fair and reasonable price. Its founders, Charmaine and Garry Ashford, have a twenty-year history in the industry from which they draw their knowledge. The company has designed, developed, and tested its extensive range of products in a wide range of conditions, from the small residential garage through to the large civil projects and, importantly, continues to keep pace with the modern market.
The company-owned manufacturing plant, in Bundamba, Brisbane, supplied a large range of epoxies, urethanes, polyaspartics, flake & concrete sealers which result in decorative and long-term flooring solutions. Branches in both Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, combined with a broad distribution network for products, ensures supplies are readily accessible throughout Australia and the South Pacific.
The company’s continuous implementation of processes and procedures, along with the state-of-the-art technology, has earned it a number of accreditations, including APAS Australia Paint Approval Scheme, ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System, ISO 45001 Safe Management System and, is a Federally Recognised Manufacturing Unit. The company prides itself on the quality of its systems, thereby ensuring that the accuracy and reliability of products are at the forefront of requirements during the manufacturing, testing and application processes.

With more than 400m2 of dedicated showrooms across our Brisbane & Melbourne locations we're confident there will be a sample, colour or finish to match your projects requirements. All Purpose Coatings showrooms offer a professional space for installers, builders & specifiers to send their customers to view products and systems.
All Purpose Coatings have dedicated training facilities based in Brisbane and Melbourne in which they hold their training courses offering a hands-on experience for the new installer and the experienced installer an opportunity to learn the All Purpose Coatings range of products and systems.
Our qualified & experienced staff are available to help you with product selection, colour selection or assistance with the installation procedure of All Purpose Coatings Systems.
Training Facilities
With industry experience of over 20 years, All Purpose Coatings is in the perfect position to provide a quality hands-on training course to new installers to the industry or to experienced installers wanting to learn correct installation techniques of the All Purpose Coatings products and systems.
Our trainers are both licenced and accredited with industry experience both on and off the tools in Australia and the South Pacific, offering a diverse range of application experience ready to hand onto others.
All Purpose Coatings has dedicated training facilities both in Brisbane and Melbourne offering trainees a hands-on approach to training, with large areas of application being completed over a 3 day period along with an easy to understand theory component and a take-home educational book.

Our research & development team, led by industry experts who have 30 years of experience in the coatings industry are committed to improving the design and performance of our products through rigorous testing in real-life situations, industry experience, customer feedback & laboratory tests.
Backed by ISO9001 Accreditation & registered as an APAS Recognised Manufacturing Unit, APC has the ability to design, formulate & manufacture products for any projects coating requirements. To ensure consistently accurate results in the testing and improvement phase of our products, APC's lab is climate controlled, fitted with approved weights, mixers, slip testing & other required testing equipment.
